I love to go to the beach. The water hitting the sand are two elements coming together, which inspired me for this project. To translate this idea to a product I’ve experimented with materials in which lines and colors become clearly visible. Concrete was a material which I normally wouldn’t use because of its cold appearance. Yet by applying the concept of two elements coming together in a stool, the appearance and feel of the concrete changed completely.
